Twitpic lets you post pictures but you have to link back to the site when you do so (that’s their rule). Their provided photo code looks like this:

But of course that’s just a thumbnail. So since the rules don’t say what size picture you can post, I chose the larger ones – however there is one catch. The different sized images are stored on different servers and there’s a token required that expires if you don’t do it right. Note that the above URL shows the word “thumb” in it. It stood to reason that the larger version address would therefore be “big” or “large” but not “full”. My 2nd choice worked (below) using “large”:

If you go to the ACTUAL photo and copy the URL you get this goop (notice the different server I was telling you about “s3.amazonaws.com” as opposed to “twitpic.com”):

and if you copy / paste that into the browser it redirects you with a cookie that expires. Once you remove the AWSAccessKeyID from the URL you get this:

Gee! That sucks! So you definitely need to copy the code from the PERMITTED link picture and change the folder to the one I said “large” and go from there – otherwise you’re dealing with an
